Our journey started in 2019 when Cynthia was buying a pregnancy test at the drugstore. It was all routine until the unthinkable happened: she ran into her boyfriend’s mom.

When Cynthia told her colleague and friend Jamie about the awkward run-in, we realized that we both had terrible experiences buying health products. And when it came to learning about our bodies, there was much to be desired.

For too long sexual health had been relegated to whispers behind closed doors. So, five years ago, with a mission to empower confident health decisions, we launched a pregnancy test – Stix. It was more than a product; it was a pledge to help you navigate your health with confidence and discretion. As time went on, our community’s needs unfolded before us. Sexual health is not just a line (or two) on a stick, it’s a full spectrum of experiences and needs.

Five years, hundreds of thousands of customers, and seven products later, we’ve realized that our impact can’t be confined to the moments of waiting for a line or two on a pregnancy test. Our mission today is about the broader spectrum of vaginal + sexual health, the empowerment in making informed decisions, and the confidence of taking control of your body.

What began as a whisper, transformed into a loud and proud conversation destigmatizing health issues, breaking barriers to accessibility, and enhancing our offerings to meet you at every stage. And, we are evolving to meet this health revolution head-on. Today, we proudly reintroduce ourselves as Winx Health, a testament to our journey from a single product to a comprehensive health ally.

This transition is inspired by a "wink,” a gesture filled with meaning and intimacy. The wink serves as a reminder of our core values of accessibility, discretion, and empowerment, and most importantly, a promise that we’re in your corner.
